I was lucky enough to get down to the Charles Prow Jam (King for a Day Jam) down in Leeds the other weekend. There was such a good turn out with loads of people I hadn’t seen for years! Lots of friendly faces from around the UK had made the journey to be at Hyde Park that weekend, no matter if the weather didn’t look too good or not. Turns out in the end it was a fine day with the sun blazing, the beer flowing, the riders shredding and the football kicking off in the background with Cleggy as Manager of the Shirts in the Shirts Vs Skinz final.

Big shout out to everyone who turned up and also to the LS6 guys for getting everything together and making a great day to remember our friend Charles.

The King for a Day Jam is happening in Leeds July 17th this year. Make sure to get your self their and bring some beers along.

I couldn’t possibly top what Mark wrote about the jam, so I’m not going to try. What I will say though is that the jam was awesome, weather was perfect, and I got to hang out with friends I don’t get to see too often. Highlights included Fathead’s MCing and subsequent banning of various things and Liam Oakes doing three quite frankly silly gaps. If you can, make it down, as the Leeds lads are going to do what I’m sure Charles wanted, get drunk, BBQ and ride bikes. Should be a good day, so lets pray for the weather.
