H Man’s back in Brighton to document more of the capers at the Brighton Ain’t Ready house for Seventies and Ride UK and I’ve again bullied him into being productive rather than sitting on his behind. By the time Nate leaves Brighton to go home he will have been there for nearly two months, so he clearly enjoys the place! We caught up with Primo’s team manager to ask him a few questions about Brighton and the UK in general. Read on to find out more.

So Nate, how are you enjoying Brighton?
Brighton has been great! Even when its raining or snowing.

How are you adjusting to the British way of life? How is it different from your usual daily grind in LA?
The British way of life is great, socializing over beers and roast dinner can’t be beat, its definitely different than L.A. for me, I am generally pretty anti-social when I’m in L.A.

What’s your favourite thing about Britain?
The people seem to be pretty friendly, but I like the fact I don’t need to drive at all!

Anything you prefer back home?
Yeah, the comfort of just being able to chill at my apartment and get mexican food.

I met you when you came up to Sheffield for the Tomorrow We Work premiere, you seemed to be having a good time. Did you enjoy the premiere?
Yeah it was a good time and the video was worth the wait.

Are you gutted I kicked your ass at the punch bag game, when I’m way skinnier then you?
Well to be fair I only got the side of it with my hit, and you had some practice.

When did I have practice?
You hit a few times before right?

No, that was my first!

Do UK BMXer’s party harder than their US counterparts?
Depends on who you party with i guess, but i think there is more drug use over here.

Have you done any non-riding tourist stuff yet?
Yeah I spent alot of time just wandering around Brighton and London, I’ve seen some real tourist stuff and not just spots this time around.

How does Brighton street riding compare to LA street?
You’re less likely to get kicked out of spots here, but there really aren’t any session spots like LA and you can’t beat an LA school!

You’ve just came back from a two week trip away to Taiwan, what were you over there for?
I went there to do some product stuff and check out some vendors for Primo

How did you find living over there, like ordering food, transport and sleeping?
The food thing is easy either you speak english or point at a picture or you play a game of scherades with some one to get a bowl of noodles, for transport the agent that takes care of Primo drives me around and sleeping its only the finest hotels Evergreen represent HAHA!

What was the craziest thing on the menu you saw while over there?
well i am a pretty adventures eater i ate octopus leg on a stick from a street vendor but at a nice restaurant i went to the had coagulated duck blood floating around in the soup i just picked around that part.

So you mentioned you were over on business with Primo, can you tell us of any new things we may be seeing hitting our shores in the future?
Yeah all business, well some stuff that should be around soon is Nathan Williams signature pivotal seat Corey’s newly designed grip Dakota has a big ass foldable tire coming mid summer and I hope to get these drive side hub guards finished and out real soon, oh and Tony’s stem and Sprocket too these should be around soon.

I found out while you were here in England that your into your Vdubs. Whats the setup at home you have right now?
Yeah I love them! right now i have an 02 Jetta station wagon 1.8T pretty stock but I love it I hope to have some new wheels when I get home if this sale goes through today.
