Dakota is blowing up right now, no other way to put it. His section on the just released ‘Insight’ is amazing and there are about ten web videos of him floating around the internet with him killing it. Dakota’s been spending some time in the UK at the Brighton Ain’t Ready house to film and shoot photos, and get his first taste of England. 1. What made you want to leave sunny California and come sample Britain’s frankly abysmal weather?
Well I’ve never been to England and I really liked the idea Seventies had for the ‘Brighton Ain’t Ready’ project, needless to say weather wasn’t that big of a concern. Ha ha, good weather is a plus though.

2. Have you enjoyed Brighton?
Yeah, very much so, when its not raining, the riding and spots have been awesome, and the apartment is pretty dope too. Pretty dang good scenery as well.

3. Is this your first time in the UK?
Yepppp

4. Whats your favourite thing about the UK?
Hard to narrow it down, its just been nice chillin’ with Dan Lacey, Baz and everyone over here. Everyone is hilarious, good times for sure!

5. Anything you don’t like?
Taxi drivers WON’T stop even if there about to run you over. Ha ha.

6. Would you come back?
Heck yeah, no question.

7. Whats the jump off all about?
If you have to ask, you’ll never know. It’s the jumpoff though. Ha ha.

8. Your bike is looking pretty sick, your riding one of those Aitken 3.5’s whats the new setup like?
The new whip is soooooo dialled. I love the Aitken S3, and the S3.5 is just a new version, with oval down tube, super clean removable brake mounts, and a built in seat clamp. I’m diggin’ it.

9. I hear your getting some signature Dak parts in 2008 is this true?
Yeah, the Dakmonster and Dakpack. Ha ha ha, the Dakmonster is my signature tire from Primo and the Dakpack is a backpack for Lotek that Rich and I are working on. Soon….

10. Your getting a load of coverage at the moment with Insight just being released which may I add your part is sick, your going to be filming on tour with the Props guys and you maybe riding in the Brazilian X-games, sounds like loads is happening for you. What would you say kicked all this off?
Being blessed by God, and just having fun riding.

11. Thanks for your time, I hope the weather stays good for the rest of your trip, where you off to next?
The day after I get home from this, myself, Corey Martinez, Nathan Williams, and Brett Walker will be in So-Cal filming with Will Stroud for the new Levis DVD.
