So this kid gets a private park session at Transgression with a bunch of builders lights and some Twisted Sister to listen to. He has moves and he rides for 20Twenty but when can we expect a street edit?
The BSD edit dropped today, we stuck the trailer up for it yesterday and I’ve gotta tell you it was one of the main things that was on my mind all day. Featuring riding from Jersey, Nailz and Reed Stark the first instalment ticks all the boxes, amazing filmed thanks to Dave Sowerby, huge moves from the riders and a sick banger rounding the perfect 7 minute film off. And for all you style cats there is some sweet Super 8mm footy on there too.
Ike & Tina Turner – Living for the City Remix
Split Profits – Drop of Poison
The Rolling Stones – Ventilator Blues
A comically brilliant and 95% true documentation of DSAB’s Disco Stu aka “the Disc”. You have to watch this, even if you don’t like the patter the riding is great too, he does a great gap into a grass bank and a pretty hefty rail to say the least. Watch and enjoy. We’ll have try and get an interview with the Disc if he’s got time and if we’ve got enough money in our budget!!
Something new and a bit exciting from the guys over at BSD. Below is the trailer for their three part series called “Living for the City” filmed by Dave Sowerby in and around Glasgow with their team. The first part is going live tomorrow sometime, be sure to check back on here for the first instalment. It’s going to be sick.
Peter Adam went up to visit Jason Phelan who’s currently living at Unit 23, this probably explains why Jason has nearly every line dialled in there. If you haven’t had a chance to ride the new ‘Hall 1’ yet then its about time you started planning a road trip up to Glasgow to shred that place.
What a time was had up at the BSD Hellawine Jam last weekend. Greg and Brad Illingworth and I made the journey up to Glasgow early on Saturday morning, a light covering of snow had lay the night before around Newcastle up to the borders of Scotland. We’d seen two lorries spun round facing the wrong direction on the A69 within half a mile and started to think “is this really the best idea?”. Carrying on regardless and with the musical delights of Black Sabbath blasting on the stereo we continued North until we hit the spaghetti junctions of the Glasgow ring road. A quick stop in Asda for the greatest beer of the moment, Beer De Luxe and some vegetarian friendly produce we we’re ready to hit Unit 23. Read more →
