When I saw Kriss post up a new edited called “Fancy Footwork” I was hoping for one of the most epic tracks of music to be teamed up with the video.. Chromeo – Fancy Footwork but alas there was nothing but the tap dancing sound of his bike and feet hitting up some quality birch ply up at Unit 23. It’s still worth the watch cause he’s a mentalist on a bike but Chromeo would have been my track to go with the titled edit.
I can see a couple of running themes going here, first off we’re posting all the sections from Alex Donnachie’s Nearly DVD and secondly people so far today love to do rail hops and gaps and various fast speeds.. Zander Rourke likes to head towards walls and over handrails with quite a bit of speed as you will see when he slaps a concrete wall with some G’s behind him (gravitational force not g-unit‘ force). A great edit to follow up with!!
Feist – Past In Present
Right then, I don’t start work till 4pm today so i’ve had a chance to watch a couple of UK street edits, mainly the ones from Alex Donnachie’s Nearly 2 video. Kicking it off (as im going to post a few sections) is Kerr Wilson’s section. Featuring some of Glasgow’s finest spots and Kerr with his love of rail hopping and gapping out of stuff it makes for a good edit to kick things off.
Mac MIller – Knock Knock
What a damn good section from Nearly 2 which came out a wee while back, looking forward to the next section, im guessing it’s going to be one a week by the looks of it. Plenty to look forward to if that’s the case!! Enjoy Alex D’s section now and get pumped, maybes tomorrow you can go out and ride if the weather is not too brass!
The Joy Formidable – Cradle
Alex Donnachie looks to be starting to upload the sections from the Nearly 2 DVD, I never saw this unfortunately when it was out on DVD but bit by bit im going to enjoy the whole thing online thanks to Mr D. Kicking it all off is exactly what you’d expect.. the “introduction” to the video, tricks, spots and slams a plenty. Featuring Alex Donnachie, Jordan Gosling, Sean Lafferty, Kerr Wilson, Zander Rourke and Disco Stu
Fun – Barlights
I’m going to say it, this has to be one of the best edits of all year and there has been some bangers and a half. Alex Donnachie is always a pleasure to watch, we’ve been posting about him since he was a wee lad and he’s been progressing into one of the best riders the UK has! After putting out a great Living for the City section almost a year ago and then that Sosh Urban Motion edit filmed by Peter Adam which personally blew my mind we now have this latest edit filmed by Dave Sowerby which is going to make you wee a little…
Be sure to check out the BSD website for some behind the scenes photos from the DIG BMX interview in Issue 96 but first of all settle in for a sh*t storm!
Pixies – Where Is My Mind?
Filmed and edited by Andre Fowkes over the period of last summer. If you can get around the tune then you’ll probably love it, not my cuppa tea in the music dept but a good edit non the less.
Three 6 Mafia – Ridin’ Spinners
The Polish shredder is doing for DSAB in the latest of their web edits, massive bomb drops and gaps, the guy got balls.
The Ramones – What a Wonderful World
