Rutger Pauw: Broncolor and Ben Lewis

So friend of the Phire, Rutger Pauw just posted up this lovely edit by film maker Matty Lambert of this behind the scenes shoot with Ben Lewis for Broncolor lighting. This one is for the camera geeks, the BMX rider, as there is some sick clips in this and for the lover of great filming and editing as done by Mr Lambert.

It’s a really good, short, edit showcasing the lighting gear Rutger uses out and about with Ben around Liverpool. Starting at the DIY skate spot near Camp and Furnace then the docks to the quarters to wall ride and then further around the city picking out some quality nibs and jibs. For the camera geeks Rutger is testing out the new Broncolor Siros 800L lights which look dope; compact, powerful and looking simple to use these will no doubt set you back some serious cash but will also last a long time like most Broncolor gear. Anyways enough about that, check out the video and hit the links for more delights and geekery!

Paul Ryan & Phil Demattia – Street Plaza

Rampworx Skatepark has expanded and it’s absolutely massive now, they expanded it by 15,000 square feet to be precise! Which makes it the largest skate park in the UK. It now spans to 70,000 square feet. Their new street plaza section looked great in photos but I’d never seen a video until now, the place is full of rails, ledges, banks and even has a grass gap! Paul Ryan & Phil Demattia definitely give the new section of the park a good seeing to! This video is shot beautifully with seamless swooping motion throughout, another fantastic job from Matty Lambert and a pleasure to watch.

It’s been a while in the making and damn its worth every day we’ve had to wait. This new edit from Matty Lambert is of one of Liverpool’s most famous BMX’ers, Harry Main. With footage from all over the place including some ditches that are probably somewhere in Europe or the US to the well known parks of Scotland and Birmingham, this three minute edit is going to make you need to pick your jaw up off the ground. Oh and once you’ve watched that be sure to check out the photo gallery over on the Ride UK site.
