When the very first Brighton Ain’t Ready went down I was luck enough to be asked to photograph/document the crazy riding and good times that went on in the BAR House. Six years on Mike King and Bakos were behind the lenses of the video and the stills, smashing out an amazing video which you can watch here if you haven’t seen it yet. With riders from around the world and all the biggest names it is too good not to give a watch for FREE! Read more
Next Thursday (30th May) we’re hosting the Newcastle premier of Kink’s latest offering “Squash It” featuring a whole shit load of amazing riders including the UK’s Ben Basford, Phil Demattia and Lloyd Wright. The venue is The Tyne Bar, the same place we had the Subrosa G.U.T.I. premier at. The map and address can be found below. Again you don’t have to be 18 to come along (cause we’re in the beer garden) however if you’re wanting to drink you’d best bring some ID with you as the bar probably won’t serve you without it. There’s a beer and burger deal on until 9pm which gets you a burger (Beef, Chicken or Bean(v)) and a pint of either Wylam or Sam Smiths for £5.99.
Directions to the Tyne Bar can be found on this link and here’s the address for anyone with a satnav:

Here’s a Facebook event page for all you tech people, please spread the word, it’s going to be another good event with an amazing line up of riders.
Squash It Trailer 2:
Zeyad from Archetype BMX just sent over this chilled video of Ben Basford riding the last hour before the sun went down at Nottinghams, Clifton park. Even in a final hour Ben got some good clips filmed, I flipping love that summer is on its way, light nights and long days, today will be a good day!!
Ice Cube – It Was A Good Day
As Lloyd Wright puts it “One of the best times of my life..” and when he says that you can definitely understand why when you watch this video. The video just spills bright, sun kissed colours out onto your screen, people are happy, security guards giving high fives and bumping knucks with riders?? Where do you normally see that happening? Get ready for a big, chilled out edit from Kink riders Lloyd Wright, Chris Doyle, Tony Hamlin, Ben Hittle, Sean Sexton, Aaron Smith and Darryl Tocco as they hit up the few spots they find while cruising round the world.
Johnny Harris – Light My Fire
Back near the start of this year Kink BMX decided they were going to do a little cruise round some of the hotter parts of the world. After being messed about by one of the cruise companies they went for the more expensive, hassle free option and jumped on a Royal Caribbean (screw the other guys). All I can say is that there’s not a lot of riding in this trailer but with a team like they have and the fact it was warm and dry will probably mean they’ve came up with some crazy shit for the video. Hopefully this is going to drop real soon, I need some inspiration to get me through this winter..
As if 2012 wasn’t a great year already, especially with all the awesome end of 2012 edits and what not but my good friend Lloyd Wright just got hooked up on Odyseey UK through IMG Distribution. Odyssey dropped a little post on their site about the news, i’m stoked, im sure you’re stoked and I can’t wait to see some edit welcoming him to the team real soon! Go on Lloyd!!
Check out his bike check below to see all the latest tech he’s just acquired thanks to Odyssey:
Jibbin’ around in Rochester, just over two minutes of some good street riding with a few clips from team Kink and our friend with the Queen, Lloyd Wright.
