I saw a promo for this last night on Will Evans instagram and nearly popped a poo, Kevin Kalkoff can ride round parks so damn smoothly as demonstrated in this here video in conjunction with The Albion (for his interview) and Vans Europe. He then rocks a couple of sweet tables on the the street for good measure.

Some of the most talented people in BMX at the moment are coming together to work on a huge feature called “Make It Happen” the brainchild of Greg Illingworth featuring The Albion’s George Marshall and filmer/editor extraordinaire WIll Evans. They’re taking the idea global, starting off in Greg’s home country of South Africa. Greg took a few friends along for the first chapter of the trip, riders Ben Hennon, Matt Priest, Kevin Kalkoff and Paul Ryan, check out the trailer for it below and make sure you keep tabs on the Make It Happen site and The Albion Magazine!

Flybikes in Vigo and San Sebastian

It looks like Spain has it all. I’ve only been to Barcelona to ride once before and have meaning to go back ever since to go ride again. I went last year with my girlfriend and we had a few days down there chilling out and celebrating my birthday. It was February and the locals said that it was freezing, big jackets, scarfs and wooly hats while us two Brits were wearing jeans and t-shirts with the ocasional coat. It’s all about perspective and my view on it is that Spain has pretty much got it all. They have awesome weather, hardly ever see snow unless you travel up into the mountains, it never really gets colder than 10-14 degrees and rain is minimal. On top of all that weather reporting they have amazing spots to ride! Check out the video below where the team go back to the birthplace of FlyBikes in their home town of Vigo, later in the video they all head north to hit up San Sebastian to shred some more streets. I need to hit these places up with a crew soon!
