Here’s what Greg and the team had to say about their second trailer for the “Make It Happen” video coming out in late 2013…
“For the second chapter of Make It Happen, we ventured to the vast cities of mainland China. We started in Hong Kong and headed into the mainland by train. The crew were handpicked for their ability as hardened travellers to cope with a foreign land such as China. It was a hard but rewarding journey. By day we rode endless miles in intense heat and humidity, seeking out new and untouched spots. We made our way from to city to city like a group of heavily laden packhorses with all our bikes and luggage, all drenched in sweat. But all the blood, sweat and hospital visits were worth it, as you will see in the full video at the end of 2013.”
Featuring Josh Harrington, Brian Kackinsky, Eddie Zunda and Greg Illingworth, filmed and edited by Will Evans. Be sure to check the MIH website for photos to accompany the trip.

In January of this year Greg’s UK/JP video dropped, one of the spots that was featured in it is not far down the road from where we’re based. A huge victorian reservoir that’s been featured in the NSF video and on the front cover of Ride UK where Baz Keep was doing a huge table out of it. Last year Greg, Brad (his brother), Dave Summertime, Ross Thompson, Murphy and I went down to have a session and to snap some photos of something I’d wanted to shoot for years, even if it was just to take a photo of the sheer scale of the place. Check this video with Greg Illingworth about how his Ride UK interview came together. It takes you through how Greg came to the UK, met with photographer Nathan Beddows and started the epic interview that hit Ride’s pages last month. They show you behind the scenes footage of how each photo came about and where in the world they were taken. It looked like it was one hell of an epic interview to piece together and hence the title “A Long Time Coming”.
Hat’s off to Greg, Nathan and WIll for making this happen.
