This latest epic conceptualised by the great minds of Film Maker and Editor Rich Forne and Photographer George Marshall and backed by the old crew at Red Bull is just over a five minute cinematic edit. With riding from Sergio Layos, Kriss Kyle, Greg Illingworth, Russell Barone and Alex Kennedy they went on a 4000km journey around the Bad Lands of South West Africa where not a lot more than desserts and mountains exist in there numbers or so we are lead to believe.
Check out the amazing video below and we also have 10 copies of the Bad Lands book with photos documenting the whole experience and journey from George Marshall to give away. Hit us up over on our Facebook page if want to be in with a chance to win a copy, all you have to do to is like and share our video and the winner will be picked at random.
Just going to post this one before bed and if most of you have already gone to sleep then when you read this it will be morning and you can start your day feeling chilled out by watching Mr Kennedy and all his style carve up some street while listening to a spot of Bob Marley and The Wailers.
Bob Marley & The Wailers – African Herbsman
Wow, this is jaw droppingly amazing! The chilled, smooth, flawless style of Alex Kennedy mixed with the storm ditches and street nibs and jibs of somewhere in the USA. AK for me is one of the smoothest riders to watch on the net. The dude has been killing it for so long since back in the days of Aversion when he was hitting it hard it on the ramps to now where he’s equally doing it on the streets. You may want to watch this a couple of times so get the kettle on!
Millie Jackson – It Hurts So Good
Ok.. So here it is, 1st place at Sosh Urban Motion 2. When I saw the 2nd place entry, personally I thought it couldn’t be topped and that is as good as it could get. (taking nothing away from the 2nd place entry which was also amazing) this definitely takes the cake! Using just a skateboard, a tripod and a smartphone Cult Crew‘s Alex Kennedy & Rich Forne totally shut it down in this edit. The editing and soundtrack is amazing, it’s well worthy of the 1st place spot in my opinion!
The Nike Batalla BCN teaser finally went up on Vimeo two days ago just after it was up on Mpora. It’s a very tense teaser as the sound is peaking out all over the place making you feel slightly on edge while watching. The clips are short, not giving much away and theirs plenty of falls and bad looking slams to help keep you even more up tight. The full video drops on May 1st featuring riding from Alex Kennedy, Simone Barraco, Kriss Kyle, Chad Kerley, Joris Coulomb and Daniel Tünte. I wonder how Nike will do it differently to everyone else that’s dropped edits from BCN of recent, their’s been like ten this year already!
First thing this morning on the old vimeo stream I saw that The Loot had posted up a new mix tape and the description of “featuring the whole crew” was enough to get me out of bed for a watch. Featuring Bengo, Alex Kennedy, Dan Paley, Mike Taylor, Josh Roberts, Addy Snowdon, Dan Roper and Fitzy and a mind blowing five minutes of quality riding.
Bone thugs N Harmony – Thug Luv
Hot off the press, just seen this go up over on the Cult Vimeo account, a bunch of unseen clips filmed by Dakota Roche of fellow team rider Alex Kennedy. AK is so smooth you will probably have to witness this more than once today, such a good chilled collection of clips.
Here’s a new video from Seventies of a bunch of their riders who rode at this years Simple Sessions over in Estonia. Featuring Bas Keep, Ollie Shields, AK, Paul Ryan and Scott Ditchburn.
