Pete Greaves: Bikes Against MDN

/

December 5, 2017

/ H Man

It’s been a while people, too long in fact but lets not ramble on too much when there are more important things to watch and learn from. 3 days ago Pete Greaves posted up this great edit made from spare clips he’d been gathering from the past year or two of travelling with his BMX, from around the doors to over the pond, it’s worth the watch. Along with the riding side of the video there is an important message at the start of the edit about Pete’s younger brother Dave, who he lost to Motor Neuron Disease last year. Pete has been actively raising money for the MND Association in many different ways from sponsored runs to climbing mountains and this time he’s dropped this edit to help spread awareness, and if you are up for it you can donate to the MND Association to help fund more research to one day maybe find a cure for this terminal disease.

Please give this a watch, donate if you can and at least spread the word around if nothing else. Hope you enjoy the edit.

Ryan Lilburn: Rob Annis – Spares and Repairs

/

June 12, 2017

/ H Man

So you know when you drop an edit and it’s a few minutes of the best clips you got, along with the best filmed and the ones that also work with the timing of the video..? Yeah well that was last week and this is the “Spares and Repairs” leftover clips that Ryan filmed with Chainless Rob and i’ve gotta put my personal angle on this but i’m into this equally as much as the edit Rob dropped a week or two back. Having just the raw clips with the occasional sound of footsteps chasing Rob and the bike tyres pumping over the ground to get speed is just class, I can’t explain it properly but watch and listen.

It’s time to sit back, get that morning kicked off to a good start and face the day ahead. Enjoi the show.

Tall Order: The t’North East

/

June 7, 2017

The past week or so Sebastian Keep and the Tall Order guys have been up t’North sessioning the big old Victorian Reservoir that made the front cover of Ride UK with Bas doing a huge air powered by the wheels of Ben Hennon dragging him along on a motorcycle to get the speed to air this huge old thing (you need to see this if you haven’t already). And then it turns out the guys went a bit further North to sunny old Sunderland to session, and I quote, “THE WORLDS BIGGEST FULL PIPE” down on the banks of the River Wear.  Read more →

Ryan Lilburn: Rob Annis – Chainless

Okay so it was a couple of weeks ago Ryan Lilburn got in touch with me to tell me that he was dropping a new edit of a young rider by the name of Rob Annis who rides chainless. I thought to my self “why the hell is he riding chainless?” Having to push your bike like a scooter for run ups won’t be that easy to do and i’m guessing it would put you off a little if you’ve got to send yourself.. Not often would I be wanting to post up a park edit but when its a little wet outside, its early morning and you’re needing something to get your day started then the offer from Greg Illingworth, filmed and edited by Will Evans should just about do the trick! Get your morning coffee or tea of choice on stand by and prepare to watch a slick, fast moving, amazingly filmed and edited banger of an edit.

Tom Kilcoyne: Je Suis Alors

March 31, 2017

So it’s been a few months, yeah we get that already, a lot has no doubt been happening and i’ve been a very busy bee travelling around the world doing some doco about some guy about some food.. it was all very nice. Anyways the weather here in the UK is on the up and some of the older dudes have been doing Yoga and sh*t to sort their aches and pains out, and talking about older dudes Mr T aka Tom Bright hit the grand old age of 30 a couple of weeks ago (Happy Birthday Mr T) so Tom decided to celebrate in style by heading over to Paris with a few other Northerners to meet up with Tom Kilcoyne who’s been shredding about over there for the past couple of months. Tom K decided to capture the week long shenanigans on a digital format capture type device and made the following edit featuring Tim Evans, Giannos Zouras, Kieran Cooper, Tom Bright, Pete Greaves, Danny Crossley, Matthias Dandois, Dimitri Ivanov, Robin Bourhis and of course himself. Enjoy the next 3 minutes and 43 seconds.

John Williams – Hard Drive Gems

/

December 8, 2016

/ H Man

Found this the other day on Facebook posted by John Williams, some quality street riding with a tune that reflects the times, back when BMX was all about UK Grime and Coldplay?!? But anyways, it features a lot of riding from the North West of England and some hammers and some slams, perfect for a late Thursday night when you find yourself in Norway transferring cards of data and have not much else to do… Well that and play a few games of “shit head” (Card Game..)

Enjoy amigos

Featuring: John Williams, Camo (Antony Cameron), Jack Dub, Phil Demattia, Scott Ditchburn, Dewi Joseph and Gaz Venn

Music:

Jason Phelan: LochDown

/

November 24, 2016

/ H Man

This is pretty epic, Jason started a Kickstarter campaign back in March to attempt to raise cash to do a BMX project that involved ramps, ships and water.. a kind of odd proposal you may think and so did many others possibly as the Kickstarted failed to get anywhere near his £15,000 target. HOWEVER Jason must have got in touch with the right people who were willing to take a punt at this and below is the finished product. Mike King was the man behind the camera, Jason doing it for GT was the mad man in front of the camera and hats off to The Professional Diving Academy (PDA) in Dunoon, Scotland and Dewalt?!? for backing this project. Check it out over breakfast and enjoy.
