Rob Ridge: A Pinch of Salt

/

November 21, 2016

/ H Man

Amazing to see another edit by Rob Ridge as we always love a good, full brake, tech as you can imagine video from the master. Still reppin’ for Standard Byke Co. and still with so much passion in his riding you’ve just got to sit back and enjoy the next 7 minutes of tech, flames, fireworks and destruction of The Trick Factory along with some special moves out and about on the street setups. It’s hard to describe his riding style apart from you don’t see it much at all these days so do yourself a favour and get watching!

Music:

Adam Ant – Bullshit
Hans Zimmer, Steve Mazzaro and Andrew Kawczynski – Illest Gangsta On The Block

Being on the road working for the past 4 weeks on movies and documentaries is taking it out of me and not being able to find time to ride is doing my nut in however the guys up’t North back at home are still out there and have been clocking some golden moments at the Wastey with the king of golden tracksuits Harry Dyson including riding from Pete Greaves and Jamie Curry. Check out the edit with music biting track by Dizzee Rascal which featured originally on Marv’s section of Joe Cox’s Voices. EIther way its a fun edit and makes me want to watch Voices again which the next post will be about said edit 🙂

/

September 26, 2016

/ H Man

The BS3 crew from Bristol collaborated with the Metal Pegs from London to organise a street jam. The route was intended to be around the mean streets of the city, but the weather had other ideas. Come the morning of the jam, Plan B had to be put into effect.

Animal Bikes: John Manaras, Greece

August 31, 2016

I need to hit up Greece at some point in my life, some of my best memories of University were hanging out till 7am drinking Pernod with the Greek guys and listening to metal of all kinds and talking about philosophy, travel, music and other things which will not be brought up today 😛

However in the mean time check out this awesome edit from filmer Anas Mansour of Animal rider John Manaras killing it on the streets of Greece with a classic sound track.

Metal Pegs BMX: July Street Jam

/

August 31, 2016

/ H Man

Its the end of August and slowly the Summer is starting to wind up however we are still far from finished. The guys at Metal Pegs had a jam back in July in London that spread over two days, the reports say that it was uber hot, riding was chilled, music was mint and the overall jam was another success. It’s good seeing a couple of familiar faces in there and support for the Unknown Parasites too.

Watch the July London edit below and then clear the schedule for this Saturday 3rd September as the guys are holding there next jam in Bristol. No details as to where exactly its happening but be sure to keep your eyes peeled on their Facebook Event Page for updates on the 2nd September.

Mankind: Isaac Lesser – Getaway Frame Promo

/

August 28, 2016

A pretty cool frame promo dropped last week for Isaac Lesser’s new Mankind – Getaway frame, filmed and edited by Mike King. Together Isaac and Mike travelled over 21,000 miles around the world following their passions for travel, filming and riding. I think the intro to the video resembles what a lot of us do from day to day and the name of the frame aptly reminds us of what we like to do now and again which is simply “Getaway”.

Check out the edit filmed in and around Sydney, Brisbane, London, Essex, Brighton & Barcelona and then go book yourself some road trip time off 🙂

/

August 14, 2016

The title is somewhat inspired by the classic hit (Partridge voice engaged..) by the Pet Shop Boys – West End Girls, now we ain’t a bunch of girls but Mouse was bitch slapping himself today at the premise of hoping onto a curved wall bench ride so hmm maybe. Anywho lets get onto the main entertainment that is Sunday Sessions this week brought to you in full Technicolor, HD2000, World Wide Web Ready GIFS… Read more →

The Make: Executioners From Shaolin

/

August 4, 2016

/ H Man

There’s not much that will make you take your hat off, put down the bowl of Special K and cheese on toast in the morning.. (shit living right there) but the new Make video that just dropped yesterday is a whole load of quality shit right there! With riding from Marv, Clarky, Tommy C, Orlando, Sandy and Ratkid you will not be disappointed.. unless you are a park rat who’s never seen real street or the way China actually looks if you go an explore more than just the tourist parts.

Filmed on a recent trip to China with the team over 10 days exploring both sides of the coin and finding some of the best runs of street i’ve ever seen on a video. Fast as hell riding, lots of peg action and launchers left right and centre. Oh also you remember that thing about sticking a chain on a rail years back in the Animal videos to stop other riders sessioning the spot? Well the guys on here take that ledge to a whole new level. Sit back and enjoy.

Music:
ODB – Raw Hide
Wu-Tang Clan – Careful
Masta Killa – Pass The Bone
Godfather Don – ??

20Twenty: Sqaud

/

July 31, 2016

/ H Man

Simple title but don’t let that fool you. Featuring a tonne of good riding from the guys who rep the 20Twenty shop up in Aberdeen like as Alex Donnachie, Storm Hughes, Sean McGilly, Brad McNicol, Jensen Murray, Chris Currie and Ben Basford.

I’d say that 90% of the edit has been filmed outside the UK or Scotland for that matter as I definitely don’t recognise that weird, blue sky, warm look which happens like twice a year if we’re lucky. Right anyways get watching im off to bed…

Music:
AP Nast feat. Method Man – Trillmatic
