Frayed Magazine: Eisa Bakos
I’ve been aware of Bakos for a while now and seen a fair bit of his work going from strength to strength. He’s worked for himself shooting for fun, sold his work to Shops and Distro’s and even worked for the same magazine I used to work for, Ride UK. After most of the print industry went to shit, and it’s been sad to see it happen because it’s where a lot of us got our inspiration to want to ride and take photos, some riders/photographers like Bakos took it upon himself to start there own zine like Endless Mag. The big print players left the industry a couple of years ago but print has gone right back into the hands of the riders them selves, smashing out there own zines, from photocopied to professionally printed, we’ve still got it all happening and it’s so damn inspiring to see, feel, read and god help us actually BUY and support these paper based formats that inspired a whole load of us to get into the small two wheeled bikes that is BMX.
Take this video as a night cap cause it’s bed time and enjoy the next 8 minutes of interview with Eisa Bakos, be check out Endless Mag and the guys at Frayed for more photos of the stuff we love. Enjoy 🙂
