Joyride 150 is a sick park and I’m sure most of you will remember Drew Bezanson tearing it up on his recent edit. Well Jeremy Joyce attacks this amazing park with a brutal assault of tricks including a bikeflip to tailtap, to footjam.. Yeah, that happened. This was posted a couple days ago by Josh Mac Media.
This just popped up on my news feed over on our Vimeo page and I wasn’t sure if I was going to spend the next eight minutes watching it but then looking back at what Vimeo normally suggests to me i’ve been pretty blown away with their recommendations. This next video you’re about to watch is again one of them inspirational moments where you watch something and it makes you want to make changes, plan journeys, help people, travel with friends, take adventures into the unknown. Don’t let me tell you that, watch the next eight minutes of this really well thought out, well produced and well filmed video of Rob Machado (pro surfer) go on a journey back to Japan to catch up with old friends and see what’s been going on.
Touching briefly upon his life and travels through surfing Rob goes back to Japan to catch up with one of his old surf friends Takashi Kobayashi who now goes about his days building habitable tree houses. They talk about the huge tsunami that happened just over two years ago and the disaster it brought to the country. Taka wanted to try and help out with what had happened to his community but he felt helpless at the time as he says “as tree house builder there wasn’t much I could do to help at the time..” but then he thought of something which he could give back to the community, something that would help re-build and bring back some happiness that had been stolen from a lot of the people of that area. The next eight minutes will take you on a journey through the lens of Rob Machado and hopefully make you think a little about what we are doing to help maybes in our own communities.
Cal Hinshaw sent us this short edit of his mate Brodie Scott riding Exi Park in Toon. All of it was filmed in 30 minutes before school which is pretty impressive given that us old guys can spend weeks filming to get the same amount of footy 😛 I jest, it’s not bad and it only lasts just over a minute and a half so give it a watch.

I clocked this one over on the Ride UK BMX Facebook page. It’s total edge of the seat stuff throughout the entire edit as the 16 year old Ben Grist goes all-out! It really does look like he’s been riding forever with the huge, dialled inverts and a massive bag of tricks to make this edit a total banger! Ben just sent this in to Ride via their Facebook page, probably not even thinking he would have his video shared.
Hundreds of kids share their stuff week in, week out but with the great style, tricks, filming and editing.. This one definitely stood out! Watch and see why..
Florence & The Machine – No Light No Light
This little treat was uploaded just 22 hours ago and is packed full of BMX, bad language, drug references, sexual references, mild nudity and other various forms of good banter. The PBMX lads are a sound bunch of lads who love to ride their bikes and this edit of their recent road trip makes me want to pack my job in, load my car up with bikes and just do one! The lads went to Cambridge originally, then hit up a load of parks in the surrounding area – Great job lads, I really enjoyed this one!
