Red Bull: Ramparanoia
I watched this video and thought to myself this is the definition of a natural playground for BMX riders, I’d love to go on a trip like this!
I’ve always found riding naturally formed transitions a lot of fun so this was right up my street.
The location: Campo de Piedra Pomez, Argentina which is more than 75,500 hectares long, with natural ramps and drops formed more than 500,000 years ago, as a result of volcanic erosions.
Red Bull set up one hell of a competition featuring riders such as:
Ben Hennon, Daniel Dhers, Tobias Wicke, Sebastian Keep, Ruben Alcantara, Kevin Kalkoff, Gary Young, Aaron Ross, Martin Postigo and Iñaki Mazza
Ben Hennon who was riding for TEAM CRC BMX took the overall win with a consistent level of riding, demonstrating creativity and good adaptation to the course and the climate.
