Check out The Shadow Conspiracy’s Year End edit they’ve done, featuring a few lads we all know and love including Simone Barraco, Paul Ryan and Scott Ditchburn.
I hope you’ve all had a very Merry Christmas and that preparations for New Year are in progress. I come back to the blog today with probably the best web series edit of all year. The much anticipated, third and final edit from the BSD “Living for the City” series, featuring riding from Dan Paley, Jeff Cadger and Alex Donnachie destroying the streets of Glasgow.
If you haven’t seen the other two edits then watch them first > here (Part 1) and here (Part 2) and then watch the final one below..

Adam Stone from Conway Cycles dropped us a line this morning to let us know that the build of Override Skatepark will be starting the first week of January. It’s been mega busy down at the bike shop and during that time the unit for the skatepark was getting a survey sorted and they’d found asbestos that needed to be dealt with. Well the good news is it’s all good to go ahead now so we should start seeing more regular updates on here real soon!
I watched this video and thought to myself this is the definition of a natural playground for BMX riders, I’d love to go on a trip like this!
I’ve always found riding naturally formed transitions a lot of fun so this was right up my street.
The location: Campo de Piedra Pomez, Argentina which is more than 75,500 hectares long, with natural ramps and drops formed more than 500,000 years ago, as a result of volcanic erosions.
Red Bull set up one hell of a competition featuring riders such as:
Ben Hennon, Daniel Dhers, Tobias Wicke, Sebastian Keep, Ruben Alcantara, Kevin Kalkoff, Gary Young, Aaron Ross, Martin Postigo and Iñaki Mazza
Ben Hennon who was riding for TEAM CRC BMX took the overall win with a consistent level of riding, demonstrating creativity and good adaptation to the course and the climate.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of years you may have seen the many colabs that have been going on betweek Joe-Tek and DUBBMX. They’ve had lines of t-shirts, custom spray job seats and frames and loads of the prizes at the DUB Jams were made by Joe. Now they’ve officially released a colab seat in a range of six flavours. Check out the lookbook here and the sickerning promo video below..
The seats are available through www.joe-tek.co.uk, DUBBMX and any good bikes shops in your area!!
The reason I found this video was that i’d just watched the Anton Arnarson Icelandic edit and wanted to find out what the tune was, a few comments later I noticed that Chris Tolley had posted a reply, naming the artist and saying he’s just used another tune by them on his edit. A couple of minutes later and i’d just finished watching his edit named the “Death of Summer”. He must have been real upset about the end of Summer but don’t worry mate the Mayan’s were wrong about the world ending today so you’ll get to enjoy another one, same time, next year!!
The 4Down/Etnies park is getting a good hammering at the moment and theirs no sign of it slowing with this new edit by the RADBMX guys. It’s got Kink’s Lloyd Wright and Mankind’s Isaac Lesser in it but I can’t really tell who the others are. Give me your names, in the mean time enjoy it.
EDIT: Featuring Sam Cunningham, James Ivett, Billy Purcell, Josh Wyles Luke Duffy and Team Sloth
Anton Arnarson is quite the man, it doesn’t matter what the weathers like, he’s always out there riding and filming. He dropped us an email yesterday to let us know that his new Winter edit has just went live and its brilliant. He has some well good looking spots to ride both inside and out, the weather obviously doesn’t bother him like it does me haha.
