Will Evans was unlucky enough to have pretty much 90% of his camera setup swiped from him in on a recent trip with WeThePeople to Germany and France, from what I gather no one was hurt. The thieves being the technologic kind were kind enough to leave him his Super 8mm camera and the guys also had their iPhone’s. With a simple yet effective setup and a good edit/grade of the footage this is what they came back with. Enjoy and goodnight..

So the site’s been up little under a week and we’re still not officially launched yet. At the moment we’re currently still testing the whole site out for bugs and to see what works best. Some features are still buggy, some haven’t been enabled yet and some will change in the near future. So if at any point you see something that you think shouldn’t be happening don’t worry it’s probably just me messing with some tech stuff out back, either that or I’ve just simply broke the site.

One part of the site that may still change heavily is the forum/message board. I’ve never used the current forum software before and its simple and integrates well with the site but it’s still not 100% there yet so don’t get too used to it.

South Shields: Override Skatepark

Some good news was sent to me just over a week ago, the news that South Shields was getting an indoor park built this winter in time for early next year. The development is being directed by the guys behind Conways Cycles and they are working in partnership with a few other local companies to get things off the ground. Word on the street is that they have got the keys, they’ve been in cleaning the place up, getting it all painted and the wood has started coming in for the build.

Now like all modern companies these days they have a Facebook Page where you can follow their updates as and when they come in but we are going to go down soon and take some photos and reveal a bit more about the park over the coming months. For now feast your eyes on a few park plans, designed by Adam Stone who is a rider, this place should have a decent flow to it and fingers crossed in a few months from now you’ll be hitting up these very lines.

Oh and before we close the updates for today, the cafe which is also getting built in the park, is going to be ran by non other than South Shields legends Minchella’s. You can guarantee some of the best tasty snacks from toasties to milkshakes, all home made, all amazing. This was probably the most exciting bit of news about the park in my opinion 😛

Tom Sanders: Back Off The Bench

It doesn’t sound like Tom had the best of luck trying to get this video out for United. Injury after injury with collar bones, ACLs and god knows what else. He’s managed to put a banger of an edit together featuring lots of riding in Hull, Hastings, London and Barcelona. Just what you need for a winters eve…
